I am a 26 year old single mother to 3 beautiful children. My children and I were homeless from october 2006; until January 2007.My family basically turned their backs on me and my children. We spent christmas and new years alone. We never went hungry,and we never slept on the street. I worked third shift at an area rest home.(still employed) and saved up to get a small 2 bedroom apartment. I am now a full time nursing student at ecpi technical college in Raleigh NC. Icouldn't afford to keep my car, so I am now seeking assistance for that. None of my classmates live near by; so its hard for me to get to school every day.(30 miles away)If someone could please assist me in finding a regular old car,it would truly be a blessing to me and my children.
